"Dream On"

All my life,

okay not all my life,

but for a lot of it,

I have been dreaming of going to Stadium of Fire

to celebrate the 4th of July.

It's always just looked like so much fun.

Being 20 years old,

I am learning that if I want things to happen,

I have to take them into my own hands,

and make them happen.

So naturally,

when I found out that Brad Paisley

was going to be performing this year

I knew I had to be there.

It helped that David Archuleta was the opener

because I knew I could get my friends to come with me.

We bought our tickets,

the day before they went on sale.

I have had a countdown on my calendar for months.

This may be cheesy,

but,

I do believe

that it was better than I thought

it would be.

Except the heat,

it felt like 150° outside.

But we survived,

and had a great time.

(At least, I had a great time!!)
