{thoughts...feelings...perspectives...}

I feel like I title a lot of posts {ramblings} because that's what they are.
I attended a bridal shower for a former roommate last night and she asked what was new in life, or what I was doing. There's nothing new...I sit at home. When I told her what I do, I got some chuckles out of a few people.
This isn't the first time I have thought about this, but each time I do, my thoughts change. Being in the singles ward I have made a few really close friends, and it has been great. When I first started the singles ward I really only wanted friends that were close to my own age, not the "older" people. Well guys, guess what, most of my close friends are 4-7 years older than I am. And I love it! My friends thought it was a little strange that most of the people I spend my time with are closer to 30 than they are to my age. I laughed about it the first time I made this realization, but now, now I just realize how much easier life is. No drama. No sitting around asking what you want to do at a party because they're just fine talking, or playing games. I often forget that I am the youngest of the bunch. I used to think age was a major factor in any relationship. But now, I see, it does t really matter.

And because this ever so random post isn't so awesome, I'll leave you with a picture.
