tonight, i ran into that friend;
and it was probably the most painful thing of my entire week
[even worse than physical therapy!]
usually when i run into this friend
a hug is exchanged and talking and laughter is had.

a hand shake was exchanged
and a partial argument ensued.

i miss the way it was
i miss it a lot.
